VideoToMP4 – Video Downloader for Facebook, Instagram & TikTok

Facebook video downloader that saves MP4s that play on Mac and iPhone, with sound, up to 1080p. Also Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest.

A Facebook video downloader that saves MP4 files that actually play: on Mac, on iPhone, in WhatsApp and in video editors. With sound, up to 1080p, also on Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest. Nothing about you or your downloads is sent anywhere. No sign-up, no download limits, no ads, no redirects. VideoToMP4 adds one round button to the row with Like, Comment and Share, right after Share. You never hunt for it, and it never covers the video, its sound button or its controls. Click it and a small panel shows progress, then confirms when Chrome has saved the file. To download a Facebook video or do a Facebook Reel download, that one click is all it takes: Facebook to MP4, with no links to copy into a website. DOWNLOADED VIDEOS THAT WON'T OPEN IN QUICKTIME? Facebook now sends most videos as VP9 or AV1, which QuickTime, iMovie and iPhone can't open. VideoToMP4 converts them to H.264 in your browser, keeps the original sound, and tells you on the result when the file plays on Mac and iPhone. No extra app, no upload, no paid upgrade. WHAT YOU GET • Reels, Watch videos, Page videos, videos in groups you belong to, and videos in your feed. • MP4 with sound, at the best quality offered, up to 1080p. The panel shows the real resolution of every file. • The exact video you clicked. Before saving, we check that the length matches the video in the player. If we can't confirm it, nothing is saved and the panel tells you to open the video first. • Readable file names with the creator's name, never random numbers. • One-click caption copy. • The same button on Instagram Reels and posts, TikTok videos and Pinterest video Pins. CLEAR MESSAGES INSTEAD OF "NOTHING HAPPENS" • Signed out: sign in, then check again. • Removed or private: there is nothing to save, and we say so. • The site changed how its pages work: we tell you, instead of failing silently. • Dropped connection: one-click Retry. HOW TO DOWNLOAD 1. Open the video on facebook.com in Chrome. 2. Click the round VideoToMP4 button next to Share. 3. Find the MP4 in your downloads folder, or click Show in folder. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Downloads and conversion happen inside your browser and go straight to your computer. Nothing is uploaded and no outside download service is used. • No account with us and no password. The extension uses the session already open in your browser, so it sees only what you can see. • No usage tracking. The extension sends nothing about your downloads anywhere. • It runs only on the four supported sites and the servers they stream their media from. Made by PostOnce. Please only download videos you own or have permission to reuse. VideoToMP4 is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc., TikTok, ByteDance Ltd. or Pinterest, Inc.
