Video Speed Shortcuts gives you simple, customizable keyboard controls for HTML5 video playback. Speed through familiar sections, slow down to catch the details, or jump directly to your preferred playback speed. Features: - Hold a shortcut key to temporarily change playback speed, then release it to restore the previous speed. - Short-press the same key to play or pause. The default key is Space. - Increase, decrease, or reset playback speed to 1×, or jump directly to your preferred speed. - Customize each shortcut, enable or disable individual actions, and adjust the speed range, step, hold speed, and hold delay. - Set website-specific rules to disable shortcuts or override the preferred speed and action hints. - Use the popup for quick controls and choose whether to show action hints over videos. - Export your settings as a JSON backup and import them to restore your setup. - Choose English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, or Korean, or follow the browser language automatically. - Choose a light, dark, or system theme. All shortcuts can be changed in the settings. Privacy: Video playback is controlled within your browser. The extension does not collect personal information, browsing history, or website content, and does not send this information to the developer or third parties. It contains no advertising or analytics services. Settings are stored using the browser's synchronized storage. If browser synchronization is enabled, your browser provider may synchronize them between browsers signed in to the same account. The extension does not operate or receive data from that synchronization service.
