Find your way back to a video you watched. Video Recall adds a searchable details panel to Facebook's “Videos you've watched” activity page. See thumbnails, captions and creator names, then open the video you were looking for. HOW IT WORKS • Open your Facebook watch history using the extension icon. • Click “Show video details”. Saved details appear from your local library; new video details are requested from Facebook and saved for next time. • Search the displayed results by caption, creator name or video ID. Accent-insensitive search helps you find matching text. • Scroll on Facebook to load more history, then click the button again to include newly loaded videos. BUILT AROUND YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY Video Recall stores video details in this browser profile and keeps different Facebook accounts separate. Use “Local data” to inspect and clear your saved library. The developer does not operate a server that receives your watch history or searches. Requests for video details and thumbnails go directly to Facebook and its image servers. FOCUSED ACCESS The extension requests only the storage API permission. Its content scripts are limited to Facebook watch-history and reel pages. It does not request access to your browser history, cookies, all websites, downloads, or browsing tabs. Chrome may still show a Facebook site-access warning because the tool needs to read those pages. Temporary Facebook page tokens are used in memory for the video-detail requests; cookie values and passwords are not read or stored by the extension. PLEASE NOTE You must be signed in to Facebook. Search covers the videos loaded into the details panel, not your entire Facebook history. Some videos may have missing details or expired thumbnails. Facebook can change its internal requests, which may temporarily affect loading. This is not a video downloader or a search of spoken words inside videos.
