Video PiP Overlay pops the video you’re watching into a compact Picture-in-Picture window that floats above everything else. Multitask without losing the stream: answer mail, write code, or browse docs while the video keeps playing in a movable, resizable overlay. Minimize Chrome and the PiP window stays on screen. Press Alt+P to enter or exit PiP. The extension picks the playing video for you, and can fall back to tabs that are playing sound. It works with everyday HTML5 video sites, and a lightweight status popup shows what’s playing at a glance. No cluttered controls — launch from the keyboard and stay in flow. Start a video in any tab, press Alt+P, then drag and resize the PiP window as you like. Minimize the browser and keep watching. You can change the shortcut anytime in chrome://extensions/shortcuts. Works with standard HTML video players. Some DRM or custom canvas and WebGL players may not support Picture-in-Picture.
