Video Grabber is a free, open-source Mac app that downloads videos from the web pages you visit. This extension connects your browser to it. • Detects the videos a page actually plays — HLS and DASH streams and MP4/WebM files — including those inside embedded players from other domains. • One click sends the page, or a specific video, to Video Grabber, ready to download in the quality and format you choose. • Nothing downloads by itself: links are added to Video Grabber's list and you start them in the app. • No accounts, no tracking: the extension collects no data and talks only to the Video Grabber app on your Mac.
