Pin the extension to your toolbar (click the puzzle-piece icon, then the pin). 2. Open any page with media on it. The number on the icon is how many files were found. If a video only loads when you press play, press play first. 3. Click the icon and hit Save. For a normal file it downloads immediately. For a stream you'll get a quality picker — choose one and the segments are fetched and merged for you. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PRIVACY No account. No analytics. No telemetry. No server. Everything happens on your own machine. The list of detected media is kept in temporary session storage and is erased when you close your browser. Downloads go directly from the website to your disk — nothing passes through us, because there is no "us" to pass through. The extension asks for access to all sites for one reason: media can be on any site, and video segments are usually served from a different domain than the page you're on. That access is never used to collect, store or transmit anything. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ HONEST LIMITATIONS ▸ DRM-protected video (Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Spotify and similar) cannot be downloaded. That content is encrypted at a level no browser extension can reach, and this extension does not attempt it. ▸ Streams built from MPEG-TS segments save as a .ts file. It plays in VLC, mpv and most media players. If you specifically need .mp4, remux it losslessly with ffmpeg -i input.ts -c copy output.mp4 — streams built from fMP4/CMAF segments already save as .mp4. ▸ Live streams capture only the portion currently available in the playlist, not the whole broadcast. ▸ Some sites deliberately protect their media and will not work. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Please only download content you have the right to keep.
