Whether you're on a limited mobile data plan, managing bandwidth for multiple users, or just curious how much a 4K Netflix binge actually costs in gigabytes — this extension gives you a clean, instant answer without leaving the page. 🧭 How to Use 1. Navigate to **any webpage** that has a video (YouTube, Vimeo, news sites, etc.) 2. **Start playing** the video — metadata must be loaded 3. Click the **Video Data Usage Calculator** icon in the Chrome toolbar 4. The popup displays: - **Resolution, Duration, Codec, Estimated Bitrate** in stat cards - Total estimated **data usage** in MB or GB with an animated bar - A **data equivalent** for context 5. Click **"Compare Quality Tiers"** to expand a full breakdown across all quality levels 6. Click the **☀️ / 🌙** button to toggle between dark and light themes 7. Use the **🌐 language dropdown** to switch language instantly — auto-detected from your browser 8.
