Navigate to **any webpage** that has a video (YouTube, Vimeo, news sites, etc.) 2. **Start playing** the video — metadata must be loaded 3. Click the **Video Data Usage Calculator** icon in the Chrome toolbar 4. The popup displays: - **Resolution, Duration, Codec, Estimated Bitrate** in stat cards - Total estimated **data usage** in MB or GB with an animated bar - A **data equivalent** for context 5.
