vibnote — save to your snap timeline

Save the page you are reading, a selected passage, or a link to vibnote in one click, then grow them into Markdown notes.

vibnote is a place to catch passing thoughts and things you read as short "snaps", see them again when you have half-forgotten them, and grow the useful ones into Markdown notes. With this extension - Toolbar button or Alt+Shift+S: a popup opens under the button with the current page's address (and your selected text as a quote). Add a line and press Save. - Right-click: save a selected passage, this page, or a link through the same popup. - Tap one of your frequent #tags to add it (when a vibnote tab is open). vibnote works without an account, and can keep everything as plain Markdown in your own GitHub repository. The extension has no server of its own; it only hands what you save to your vibnote.com tab in your browser.
