Does not let me create a wallet on android, I got one job create wallet, Nope can't do that

Worst wallet experience ever. If I'm able to get my VET recovered I am SO outta here. I have been going around and around trying to use Sync. I put in my my keywords and instead of importing my existing account it creates a new account. I'm looking at my account that ends in X. I pull up my back up words to confirm. input it and it generates an account ending in Y. The customer service rep tells my I must not be using the correct seed words if its generating a new account. Wow, it was soo smooth and fast. I had a little difficulty at the beginning. I was use to using Sync with Ledger -very little information how Sync-Ledger-VeWorld are relate/connected; hence the confusion. Someone correct me if I am wrong; Sync enables Ledger to recognise VET, and now VeWorld is just a browser/desktop wallet - am I correct?
