Overview
Protects sensitive data in AI prompts before they leave your browser.
Vero detects and replaces sensitive data in your AI prompts before they leave the browser. Names, emails, phone numbers, IBANs, API keys, and other private values are swapped with stable placeholders so the AI still gets a usable prompt without seeing your real data. Everything runs locally inside the extension. No data is sent to a Vero server. What Vero protects: - Email addresses - Phone numbers - IBANs and VAT numbers - National identifiers - API keys and secrets - Monetary values - Names and entities (via local semantic detection) How it works: 1. Write your prompt as usual on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or DeepSeek 2. Vero scans the text locally before submission 3. Detected sensitive values are replaced with placeholders 4. The AI receives a clean prompt and replies normally 5. Vero can restore the original values in the response for readability Privacy first: - All processing happens locally in your browser - No proxy, no external server, no telemetry - Settings and placeholder mappings stay in local browser storage - Enable or disable protection anytime from the popup
