Vernier Spectral Analysis
Overview
Vernier Spectral Analysis is a tool for science students to collect and analyze data from Vernier spectrophotometers.
IMPORTANT: This is the final release of this application. In early 2025, Google is removing the ability to use apps in the Chrome Packaged App format. To continue using Spectral Analysis, use the Progressive Web App (PWA) format replacement by going to spectralanalysis.app in your Chrome browser. We strongly recommend ChromeOS 128 or later. Older ChromeOS versions may have Bluetooth connectivity problems on some Chromebooks. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our free Spectral Analysis app makes it easy to incorporate spectroscopy into your biology and chemistry labs. Using the app, students can collect a full spectrum and explore topics such as Beer’s law, enzyme kinetics, and plant pigments. The user-friendly interface walks the students through the data-collection process and includes analysis features such as curve fitting and data interpolation. New this release: • [NEW] 3 graph view • [NEW] Contextual menu for easy access to operations on graph selections • [NEW] Linked X axes in multiple graphs for simultaneous examine lines and grouped scaling • [NEW] Customize the color of individual graph traces • [FIX] Subsequent runs after deletion are now plotted properly
