Overview
Save selected text with its source, and bring it into your Verla Assignment draft.
Keep useful passages close to your work. Verla Clipper saves text you select on a webpage, along with its source link and available page title. Open the extension to find your recent clips, edit a passage in place, or bring it into a new Verla Assignment draft. • Select text and save or import it from the right-click menu. • Search up to 50 recent clips by passage, title, or domain. • Edit text directly inside the clip card. • Copy a passage with its source, or delete an individual clip. • Import passage text into the default Verla Assignment composer. The extension appends to existing text and preserves attachments; you review the draft and decide whether to send it. • Use a compact, rounded panel in the upper-right corner of ordinary webpages. Browser-restricted pages use the toolbar popup. • Interface text follows Chrome’s language, with English and Simplified Chinese supported. Your saved clips stay in the current browser profile and are not synced between devices. Clips are not separated by Verla account. Each clip can contain up to 20,000 characters; new clips replace the oldest after the 50-clip limit is reached. Saving, searching, editing, and copying clips do not require a Verla account. Importing requires signing in to Verla through its existing website. The extension adds no payment flow; Verla’s separate AI services may have their own plans and charges. Import does not submit a task or require sending one. Imports add only the passage text, without source title, URL, capture time, or channel tags. Source details remain available locally and in “Copy with source.” Website entry links carry fixed plugin-channel UTM parameters for Verla’s existing website analytics; the extension has no separate analytics SDK. Verla Clipper works with selected text on normal HTTP/HTTPS pages outside editable fields. It does not support Incognito, full-page capture, PDF extraction, or importing into existing tasks or other website composers. Automatic filling depends on the supported Verla input being available and stable. If an import cannot complete, the clip stays available to copy; uncertain imports do not repeat automatically.
