Verity Meet Capture
Overview
Record and transcribe your Google Meet meetings, with your consent.
Verity Meet Capture records the audio of your active Google Meet tab and turns it into a clean transcript and summary — so you can focus on the conversation instead of taking notes. How it works • Click Start in the extension to capture your Google Meet tab's audio — only after you confirm you have permission to record. • Verity transcribes the audio and generates a summary with key points and action items. • Recordings are stored locally on your device by default. Optional cloud backup is end-to-end encrypted, so no one — not even us — can read it. Built for privacy • Transcription runs on Verity's own servers; your audio is not handed to a third-party transcription company. • You stay in control: delete any recording, wipe all local data, or delete your account at any time. • The extension only runs on Google Meet and only communicates with the Verity app. Please note: recording a meeting captures other participants' voices. Depending on where you are (for example Switzerland, or all-party-consent US states), you may be legally required to get everyone's consent before recording. You are responsible for informing participants; Verity shows a recording disclosure to help. Verity Meet Capture works together with the Verity app at app.verityscribe.com.
