Vere - Digital Conscience
Overview
A pause between impulse and action. Your words, your rules, your conscience.
Vere is a voluntary digital conscience layer for your browser. Not a blocker. Not surveillance. Not a judge. Just the version of you that set this up — talking to the version of you that's about to act on impulse. HOW IT WORKS 1. You choose which websites to watch — social media, gambling, news, shopping, dating apps, anything you want to pause before opening. 2. You write your own personal message. Your words. Your voice. "You told yourself this leads to regret. Take a breath." Nobody else's judgment. Only yours. 3. When you visit a watched site, Vere shows you your message before the page loads. You decide to continue or step away. No alarm. No punishment. Just a moment. 4. Vere tracks your patterns — pauses, continues, streaks, and time saved — so you know yourself better over time. YOUR PRIVACY IS THE PRODUCT Vere reads only the URL of sites you choose to watch — the same address already visible in your browser bar. That's it. Vere CANNOT see: anything you type, your messages, anything inside any app, your photos, location, contacts, or anything on sites you're not watching. There is no server. There is no account. When you uninstall Vere, everything disappears. All data lives on your device and nowhere else. Built by one person who needed it. Questions?
