Verdant Ledger Light
Overview
A calm, low-glare light theme in soft green-tinted neutrals and deep evergreen text, built to WCAG AA contrast.
Verdant Ledger Light is a calm, low-glare light theme for Chrome, Edge and other Chromium browsers. Soft green-tinted surfaces and deep evergreen text keep the browser quiet around the page, so your attention stays on what you are reading. • Calm by design: a pale gray-green frame, a near-white toolbar and active tab, a white address bar, and evergreen gray icons. On the New Tab page, links are forest green and the Google logo turns a single quiet sage. • Readable for everyone: tab titles, bookmarks, the address bar and New Tab page text meet WCAG AA contrast (4.5:1), also when the window is in the background. Toolbar icons reach 5.42:1. • Complete: every color a browser takes from a theme is set, so no default color shows through. • Matches your editor: the same colors as the Verdant Ledger Light theme for Visual Studio Code. The theme contains only colors and icons. It has no code, requests no permissions and collects no data. Incognito and InPrivate windows keep the browser's own dark look, which also keeps them easy to tell apart. Menus and dialogs follow the browser's light or dark mode; choose Light to match the theme.
