The vera[tag] Browser Extension is a companion to the vera[tag] platform, brought to you by Kladero. vera[tag] helps content creators, publishers, marketers, and businesses disclose AI-generated and AI-assisted content, promote transparency, and support compliance with the EU AI Act and other applicable regulatory and platform-specific transparency requirements. Designed to work alongside the vera[tag] dashboard, the extension simplifies AI content disclosure management by letting you interact with content directly on your websites, blogs, online shops, and other digital channels through an integrated sidebar. KEY FEATURES - Select and register content: Select specific text, images, or other supported content on a webpage and register it with the vera[tag] platform. - Add AI disclosures: Choose and assign disclosures for AI-generated or AI-assisted content directly from your browser. - Manage registered content: View and manage registered content directly on your webpages and other digital channels. - Update AI disclosures: Easily change or remove existing disclosures as needed. - Unregister content: Remove content registrations from the vera[tag] platform when they are no longer needed. - Secure account-based access: Manage content across digital channels connected to your vera[tag] account. HOW IT WORKS 1) Sign in using your Kladero account. 2) Navigate to a webpage belonging to a website or digital channel already registered through the vera[tag] dashboard. 3) Select content on the webpage, then open the extension sidebar to register it. 4) Assign a disclosure to the registered content. 5) Manage content and disclosures as needed. INTEGRATION WITH THE VERA[TAG] PLATFORM The browser extension complements the vera[tag] dashboard. Registration of websites and other digital channels, as well as the configuration of available disclosures, is handled through the dashboard. The extension identifies eligible websites and other digital channels by matching their canonical URLs or other identifiers against channels connected to your vera[tag] account. Content and disclosure management are available only for matching channels. The extension uses your existing Kladero authentication session to securely communicate with the vera[tag] platform. REQUIREMENTS An active Kladero account with access to the vera[tag] platform is required. Websites and other supported digital channels, as well as disclosure configurations, must be set up through the vera[tag] dashboard before they can be managed using the extension.
