Velog Cleaner — automatically hides spam, ad-flood, and scam posts from your velog.io feed so you can browse a clean trending/recent timeline. It removes gambling/casino ads, adult/illegal ads, account-selling posts, market-research report flood, and foreign-script flood posts that have been overwhelming Korean dev blog feeds. If you've been frustrated by velog's trending page being buried under spam, installing this and opening velog.io gives you an instantly cleaner feed. Features: - Auto-hides spam cards on velog.io trending, recent, tag, search, and home feeds - Tag blocklist: blocks frequently abused spam tags (illegal cash-out, escort, account-selling, gambling, etc.) in Korean and English - Title regex matching: catches gambling/casino, account-selling, market-research flood, Korean illegal-financing spam, and more — across Korean, English, and Indonesian patterns - Foreign-script flood detection: hides posts with 4+ consecutive Cyrillic/Thai/Devanagari characters (the typical multilingual spam pattern on Korean platforms) - Co-occurring tag detection: catches posts that flood unrelated tags onto a single article - User blocklist: block posts from specific velog usernames - Custom keywords: add your own comma-separated keywords to filter - ON/OFF toggle and "show hidden" mode (fully hide vs. dim 35%) - Live counter in the popup showing how many cards were hidden on the current page - Runs only on velog.io — no access to any other site Built for: - Korean developers tired of spam clogging the velog trending feed - Anyone who reads velog.io daily How it works: After install, when you visit velog.io a content script scans post cards on the page and only hides those that match the spam rules.
