Overview

Mask sensitive parts of web pages and sync your encrypted private rules across your devices.

Veilpage helps you hide private information before sharing your screen, recording a video, browsing in public, or working near other people. Choose exactly what to mask on a page. Veilpage remembers rules by web origin and path, so the right areas are hidden when you return. You can select one specific element or matching repeated elements. Local masking works without an account. Optional encrypted sync lets the same Veilpage user carry those rules to another device. Rule contents are encrypted before upload, and each new device needs the user's recovery key. Features: • Precise on-page masking picker • Exact-page private rules • Local master-key lock • Optional WebAuthn device unlock • Encrypted same-account device sync • Explicit conflict handling • Local JSON backup and restore Veilpage is a visual privacy aid. It does not remove information from the source website and cannot prevent someone with control of the browser profile from disabling the extension.
