Veil by Goldspire protects sensitive text in Outlook, Gmail, and everyday web apps — before you hit send. Stop pasting API keys, passwords, and customer data into email threads. Veil encrypts what you select in your browser, replaces it with [redacted] or team tokens, and lets authorized people unlock on the same page. HOW IT WORKS • Secure inline — Highlight a secret in a compose window and replace it with [redacted]. Teammates with Veil click to unlock in the thread. • Team tokens — Share [veil:vt_…] placeholders that org members reveal with one click. Works across Outlook and Gmail when your team uses Veil. • Veil copilot — Detects sensitive data when you paste or type in compose fields and offers Secure, Mask, or Tokenize — with a clear reason before you send. • Generate passwords — Create strong passwords from the toolbar or right-click menu and copy them into any form. • Direct share — Send unlock keys to specific colleagues by work email when only named people should open a secret. FOR RECIPIENTS WITHOUT VEIL Personal and one-time messages can include a hosted unlock link. Recipients open the page, enter the passphrase you shared separately, and read the secret in their browser — no extension required. FOR TEAMS Admins create an organization at join-secure-text.goldspireventures.com, share a join code, and manage members from the admin portal. IT can deploy Veil and the team passphrase via Chrome or Edge managed policy so members skip manual setup. Optional policy packs (Finance, Healthcare, Engineering, and more) tune copilot and DLP behavior. Admins can review metadata-only security events or forward them to a SIEM webhook — never the matched secret text. PRIVACY FIRST Encryption runs in your browser (AES-GCM + PBKDF2). Plaintext secrets are not sent to Goldspire for secure or tokenize actions. The cloud service stores organization membership, encrypted token blobs, and optional security event metadata — not your passphrases or full email content. PERSONAL USE Install Veil and choose Personal mode — no admin or join code needed. Your passphrase stays in this browser profile. GETTING STARTED Install Veil and complete setup in the popup.
