Overview

Real-time CS2 inventory pricing, float values, pattern detection, sticker values, and trade analytics — all on one screen.

VaultLens transforms your Steam CS2 inventory into a full-featured trading dashboard — directly on the page. No switching between tabs. No copy-pasting item names. Every piece of data you need to make smart trades is overlaid directly onto your Steam inventory and trade offer pages, the moment you open them. --- INVENTORY FEATURES Price Badges Every item shows its current market price. In PricEmpire mode, Buff163 prices are displayed by default (the most trusted CS2 price reference) — click any price to open the item's Buff163 listing. In Skinport mode, the lowest Skinport listing price is shown. Float Values & Exterior Labels Float values (e.g. 0.0341) are fetched from the CSGOFloat public API and displayed on every applicable item. Color-coded exterior pills (FN / MW / FT / WW / BS) let you scan your inventory at a glance. Ultra-low floats are highlighted in gold. Rarity Border Glow Each item glows with a border color matching its CS2 rarity — from Consumer Grade grey to Covert red and Extraordinary gold. Instantly identify knife-tier items in a crowded inventory. Doppler Phase Badges For Doppler knives, VaultLens identifies the exact phase: Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3, Phase 4, Ruby, Sapphire, Black Pearl, or Emerald. In PricEmpire mode, phase-specific prices are fetched from CSFloat listings to give you an accurate value for your specific phase. Fade Percentage All 27 fade weapons are supported. VaultLens calculates the fade percentage from the paint seed and displays it on the item badge. Items with ≥ 98% fade are highlighted in gold. Supported weapons include Karambit, M9 Bayonet, Bayonet, Butterfly Knife, Flip Knife, Gut Knife, and 21 more. Blue Gem Detection AK-47, Five-SeveN, and Karambit Case Hardened items are checked against community-verified blue gem seed lists. Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 badges are applied automatically. The legendary Five-SeveN Scar pattern (#661) gets a special ⭐ badge. Marble Fade Pattern Detection For Marble Fade knives (M9 Bayonet, Bayonet, Karambit, Flip Knife), VaultLens detects the top ranked Max Pink, Max Blue, and Fire & Ice seeds. Rankings 1st–10th for each pattern type are displayed. Crimson Web Pattern Detection Double Web and Center Web patterns on Crimson Web knives are detected using community-researched seed tables. Trade Lock Countdowns Items with active trade restrictions show a 🔒 badge with the exact number of days remaining (e.g. 🔒 5 days). Freely tradable items show no lock indicator. Sticker Hover Popup Hover over any item with stickers to see a popup listing each sticker by name with its current market price. The total sticker value is shown at the bottom. Never miss a stickered item with hidden value. Duplicate Count Own multiple copies of the same item? A ×3 badge (or whatever the count) appears in the top corner of duplicated items. --- INVENTORY TOOLBAR VaultLens injects a sleek toolbar above your inventory grid: - Total Inventory Value with item count and pricing source (e.g. "Inventory: $4,832.10 · 247 items · Buff163") - Fuzzy Search — type any part of an item name to filter your inventory in real time - Sort — Default, Price High→Low, Price Low→High, Float Low→High, Float High→Low, Name A→Z, Sticker Value - Multi-Select Mode — Ctrl+click items to select multiple, then copy them as a formatted list - Copy Inventory List — exports your entire inventory as formatted plain text for spreadsheets or trade posts - Refresh Prices — force a fresh price fetch without leaving the page --- PROFILE BUTTONS VaultLens adds a row of quick-action buttons to any Steam profile: - 📋 Copy SteamID64 — instantly copy the profile's 64-bit Steam ID - 🔗 Copy Trade Link — copy your own trade offer URL (shown on your own profile only) - 🔍 CSFloat Stall — open the profile's CSFloat stall in one click - 🛡️ CSGO-Rep — open the profile on CSGO-Rep.pm for reputation checking --- TRADE OFFER FEATURES P&L Summary Panel On any trade offer page, a panel appears showing: - You Give: $420.00 - You Receive: $510.00 - +$90.00 (+21.4%) — in green if profitable, red if losing Per-Item Pricing Prices are shown below each item name in the trade window. Click to open the item's market listing. Doppler Price Override For Doppler knives in a trade, a small ✏️ button lets you enter a custom price override — useful when the phase-specific market price differs from the average price. Trade Offer List P&L On the trade offers list page (/tradeoffers/), each offer shows a P&L badge summarizing the deal at a glance. --- PERFORMANCE VaultLens is engineered for large inventories: - IntersectionObserver lazy loading — only visible items are processed first; off-screen items are queued - Batched API calls — up to 10 items per batch, max 3 concurrent requests, 300ms between batches - Exponential backoff — automatically retries on rate limit errors (1s → 2s → 4s) - Dual cache layer — prices cached 1 hour, float data cached permanently per item - Shadow DOM isolation — all VaultLens UI is isolated from Steam's CSS, so overlays never break --- PRICING MODES Mode 1: PricEmpire + CSFloat (Recommended) Provides Buff163, Skinport, and CSFloat prices for every item, plus Doppler phase-specific pricing. Requires a free API key from pricempire.com/settings/developer. Setup takes 30 seconds. Mode 2: Skinport (Zero Setup) Uses Skinport's public API — no account, no API key, no configuration required. Shows the lowest current Skinport listing price. Works immediately after installation. --- PRIVACY VaultLens collects zero data. There are no VaultLens servers. - All price requests go directly from your browser to PricEmpire or Skinport's APIs - Float data goes directly from your browser to the CSGOFloat public API - Your API key is stored only on your own device (chrome.storage.local) - No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking - Fully open source — every line of code is auditable on GitHub --- SUPPORTED PAGES - steamcommunity.com/id/*/inventory - steamcommunity.com/profiles/*/inventory - steamcommunity.com/tradeoffer/* - steamcommunity.com/id/*/tradeoffers - steamcommunity.com/profiles/*/tradeoffers --- SETUP GUIDE 1. Install VaultLens from the Chrome Web Store 2. Navigate to your Steam CS2 inventory (or click "Open Inventory" in the popup) 3. VaultLens activates automatically — no configuration required for Skinport mode 4. For PricEmpire mode: click the VaultLens icon → Settings → enter your free API key → Save --- KNOWN LIMITATIONS - CSGOFloat API rate limits may slow float loading on very large inventories (500+ items) - Fade % values are approximate (community-researched seed tables, ±0.5%) - Pattern tier rankings reflect community consensus and may not match all buyer preferences - Crimson Web detection uses seed range approximations — always visually verify - Private inventories cannot have float data fetched --- *VaultLens is free and open source. Not affiliated with Valve Corporation, Steam, CS2, Buff163, Skinport, PricEmpire, or CSFloat.*
