Overview

Offline-first encrypted password manager with local vault, secure login, backups, and optional Lifetime Premium.

VaultCove — Offline-First Encrypted Password Manager VaultCove is an offline-first encrypted password manager designed to keep your passwords, credentials, and private vault data under your control. Your primary encrypted vault is stored locally inside the VaultCove Chrome extension rather than in a cloud password database. VaultCove is built around local encryption, deliberate user actions, encrypted backups, secure website login assistance, and optional Lifetime Premium features. VAULTCOVE FREE — FREE FOREVER VaultCove Free does not expire. There is no trial countdown that eventually prevents you from opening your local vault. Free Forever includes: • Unlimited locally stored login credentials • Encrypted local password vault • Secure website login assistance • Automatic detection of newly submitted logins • Password generator • Bank Accounts • Identities • Folders and tags • Password-manager CSV import • Automatic supported-source detection • Duplicate-aware import and merge • Login-credentials-only encrypted .vcvault backup and restore • Protected Trash recovery • Local profile and appearance settings • Auto-lock protection • Security notice email support • Limited password sharing to up to 5 saved email recipients • Local license and device information Your own local login vault remains available on VaultCove Free. Premium is optional and is not required simply to continue opening and managing your locally stored login credentials. VAULTCOVE PREMIUM LIFETIME VaultCove Premium Lifetime is an optional one-time upgrade. Premium includes: • One-time purchase • Lifetime Premium license • No annual subscription • No recurring yearly fee • Up to 7 licensed Premium devices • Up to 3 Management Devices per standard 7-device Premium license • Cards • Secure Notes • Favorites • Advanced Security Center • Weak and reused password analysis • Password-age review • Advanced credential-health information • Encrypted security activity history • Complete encrypted .vcvault backup • Complete settings and history backup • Unlimited saved sharing recipients • Advanced secure-sharing tools • Encrypted .vckey to TXT conversion with required authorization • Additional Premium security and management features Existing valid VaultCove Lifetime License holders can activate Premium using their VaultCove serial and verified license email. LICENSED DEVICES A standard VaultCove Premium Lifetime license supports up to 7 licensed devices. Up to 3 of those devices can be configured as Management Devices. Management Devices can manage the licensed-device list, including supported Release, Revoke, Restore, and Delete actions. Sensitive licensed-device management actions require additional authorization, including Master Password verification and email verification. Released device slots become available for another device. SECURITY CENTER VaultCove Premium includes the Advanced Security Center. It can analyze encrypted vault data locally for security issues such as: • Weak passwords • Reused passwords • Password strength • Password age • Affected credentials • Security-related local activity VaultCove performs password-health analysis locally after the vault is unlocked. ENCRYPTED BACKUP & RESTORE VaultCove uses the encrypted .vcvault backup format. Free Forever: Free users can create encrypted backups of their saved Login credentials. Premium Lifetime: Premium users can create a complete encrypted backup containing supported VaultCove data, including: • Logins • Cards • Bank Accounts • Identities • Secure Notes • Folders • Favorites • Trash • Supported TOTP data • Sharing recipients • Share history • Security/activity history • Recovery material • Profile settings • Appearance settings • Security settings • Browser-handler settings • Other supported local VaultCove settings Each .vcvault backup uses its own unique Backup Key. The exact Backup Key is required to restore or merge the encrypted backup. Keep your Backup Key somewhere safe and separate from the .vcvault file. IMPORT FROM OTHER PASSWORD MANAGERS VaultCove can import supported password-manager CSV exports. VaultCove automatically detects supported source formats whenever possible. Imported credentials are checked against the current vault before being added. Duplicate-aware merging can: • Add new credentials • Merge matching records • Leave already-matching records unchanged • Preserve existing conflicting sensitive values instead of blindly overwriting them Imported logins become available to VaultCove website detection without requiring a webpage refresh. WEBSITE LOGIN DETECTION VaultCove can recognize supported HTTPS login forms. When a login is submitted that is not already stored in VaultCove, the extension can display an in-page prompt asking whether the user wants to add it to the encrypted vault. VaultCove does not automatically save a detected credential without the user's approval. When vault data changes, supported open webpages can update their VaultCove login information without requiring a manual page refresh. SECURE SHARING VaultCove supports recipient-bound credential sharing. Free Forever supports up to 5 saved email recipients. Premium Lifetime removes the saved-recipient limit and unlocks additional sharing features. A .vcshare file can be bound to a specific recipient email. Import requires the intended recipient's matching email and local VaultCove authorization. Received use-only shared credentials are protected from ordinary revealing, copying, editing, or resharing. SHARE HISTORY Premium users receive a local encrypted sharing history covering the most recent 30 days. History can show information such as: • Date and time shared • Recipient • Credential records shared • Number of credentials • Access duration • Expiration information The actual passwords are not stored as plaintext inside the history record. CARDS Cards are a Premium feature. VaultCove provides field-aware card entry with local card-number formatting and supported payment-network detection. Card information remains inside the encrypted local vault. BANK ACCOUNTS & IDENTITIES VaultCove supports encrypted Bank Account and Identity records. Sensitive protected categories can require fresh Master Password authorization before access. Protected-access authorization expires automatically after the configured security window. TOTP CODES TOTP Codes are currently under maintenance. Existing encrypted TOTP information is preserved while this feature is under maintenance. VaultCove will restore normal TOTP functionality in a future update after the maintenance work is completed. MASTER PASSWORD VaultCove protects the encrypted local vault using your Master Password. VaultCove cannot recover a forgotten Master Password. Users should choose a strong Master Password they can securely remember and maintain an encrypted .vcvault backup where appropriate. Sensitive areas of VaultCove may request the Master Password again even while the main vault session remains unlocked. SECURITY NOTICE EMAIL VaultCove requires a valid security notice email during initial security setup. Supported security events can generate generic background security notices. Examples include approved changes to protected records such as: • Passwords • Cards • Bank Accounts • Identities • Secure Notes Security notices are designed not to include the actual password, card number, bank details, Secure Note contents, or other protected vault secrets. LOCAL-FIRST PRIVACY Your primary vault remains locally encrypted. Protected vault content can include: • Passwords • Usernames • Website addresses • Bank information • Identities • Cards • Secure Notes • Folders • Tags • Favorites • Sharing information • Supported TOTP information VaultCove does not rely on a cloud password database to store your primary vault. There is no automatic cloud-vault synchronization. NETWORK USE VaultCove uses network access only when a feature genuinely requires communication outside the local encrypted vault. Examples include: • Website interaction requested by the user • Premium license activation and validation • Email verification • Licensed-device management • Security notice delivery • User-initiated Payhip purchase links • User-initiated support links Chrome Web Store installations receive extension updates through Chrome and the Chrome Web Store. BUY PREMIUM LIFETIME VaultCove Premium Lifetime is available as an optional one-time purchase. After purchasing, return to VaultCove and activate Premium using the supplied VaultCove serial and your verified license email. Premium is optional. VaultCove Free Forever continues to provide access to your locally stored login vault. OFFLINE-FIRST BY DESIGN VaultCove is built around three principles: ✓ Offline-first password management ✓ Local encrypted storage ✓ User-controlled backup, security, and sharing Your primary password vault is not automatically synchronized to a VaultCove cloud password database. IMPORTANT BEFORE UNINSTALLING Chrome removes extension-local storage when an extension is permanently removed. Because VaultCove stores its encrypted vault inside Chrome extension-local storage, create an encrypted .vcvault backup before uninstalling if you want to preserve a separate copy. Keep the corresponding Backup Key safe and separate from the backup file. VAULTCOVE AT A GLANCE ✓ Free Forever password manager ✓ No expiring local-vault trial ✓ Offline-first encrypted local vault ✓ Unlimited local login credentials ✓ Secure website login assistance ✓ Real-time vault and website updates ✓ New-login detection and save prompt ✓ Password generator ✓ Bank Accounts and Identities ✓ Password-manager imports ✓ Duplicate-aware merging ✓ Encrypted .vcvault backup and restore ✓ Protected Trash ✓ Limited Free credential sharing ✓ Optional Lifetime Premium upgrade ✓ No annual Premium subscription ✓ Up to 7 Premium devices ✓ Up to 3 Management Devices ✓ Premium Cards and Secure Notes ✓ Premium Favorites ✓ Premium Advanced Security Center ✓ Premium complete encrypted backup ✓ Premium 30-day Share history ✓ Premium unlimited sharing recipients VaultCove is designed for people who want a capable password manager while keeping their primary encrypted vault locally under their control.
