Replace ads with open-access Van Gogh works from The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Van Gogh Ad Swap replaces advertisements on the pages you visit with Vincent van Gogh paintings. When it is on, the extension finds common ad slots—banners, rectangles, skyscrapers, and similar units—and fills them with a bundled, open-access work from The Metropolitan Museum of Art. A caption on the image names the painting. Close aspect-ratio matches fill the slot; mismatched shapes are letterboxed so the work is not stretched. Nothing you browse is sent anywhere. The pictures live in the extension. The only setting is an on/off switch in the toolbar popup, saved in your Chrome profile. Turn it off whenever you want the original ads back, then reload the page.
