Vadikatti Scholar Filter
Overview
AI-assisted Google Scholar research: build focused searches, summarize results, and surface foundational papers.
Vadikatti Scholar Filter — AI-Assisted Research for Google Scholar Vadikatti Scholar Filter helps students, debaters, and researchers find and analyze academic sources more efficiently using Google Scholar. Enter a research claim, debate topic, or question. Vadikatti generates a focused Google Scholar query and helps analyze the search results based on how they relate to your claim. KEY FEATURES • Generate focused Google Scholar queries from a claim or research question. • Analyze Sources — Use AI to determine whether a source supports, opposes, is neutral toward, or provides mixed evidence about your claim. • AI-Assisted Summaries — Generate concise summaries of accessible research sources to understand their key findings more quickly. • Rank Results — Prioritize useful research results before summary extraction using signals such as citations, publication year, and foundational relevance. • Foundational Filter — Surface broader, foundational, and entry-level papers that may otherwise be buried beneath highly specialized research. • References — Keep links and source information associated with analyzed research. • Export Results — Download summaries and research results for later review. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open Vadikatti and launch Google Scholar. 2. Enter a claim, debate topic, or research question. 3. Vadikatti generates a focused Scholar search. 4. Review and analyze the resulting academic sources. 5. Use the Foundational Filter to surface important and less niche research. 6. Generate AI-assisted summaries and export your results. PRIVACY AND ACCESS Vadikatti works directly with Google Scholar and does not attempt to bypass publisher paywalls or access restrictions. Unsupported or inaccessible external sources are skipped. An OpenAI API key is required for AI-powered features. Users provide their own API key, which is stored locally using Chrome extension storage. Relevant research information is sent to OpenAI when the user requests AI analysis. The extension itself does not charge a subscription fee. OpenAI API usage may result in charges from OpenAI depending on the user's account and usage. Vadikatti Scholar Filter is an independent project and is not affiliated with Google, Google Scholar, or OpenAI.
