V2 MagicRows for IFS Cloud

Copy IFS Cloud rows between environments, and to Excel and back, using the normal Paste Rows. Data stays in your browser.

V2 MagicRows makes IFS Cloud's own Copy and Paste Rows work across environments and with Excel. COPY BETWEEN ENVIRONMENTS Copy rows in one IFS Cloud environment, such as CFG, and use Paste Rows in another, such as UAT. On its own, IFS Cloud keeps copied rows separate for each web address. V2 MagicRows carries them across for you. TO EXCEL AND BACK • Copied rows go on the clipboard as a table. Paste them into Excel with field names in the header row. • Leading zeros and dates are kept exactly as they were. • Edit, add or delete rows in Excel, then copy them. When you return to IFS Cloud, Paste Rows picks them up. • Every row is pasted as a new record. IFS Cloud's own validation, such as duplicate checks, still applies. LARGE SETS A browser page can hold about 40,000 rows at a time. Larger sets from Excel are split into batches automatically, and each Paste Rows loads the next batch. The toolbar icon shows how many rows are ready. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Makes no network requests. Nothing you copy is ever sent to V2 or anyone else. • Copied rows are deleted automatically after 10 minutes (you can choose 5 to 60), or straight away with Clear now. • Works only on the IFS Cloud environments you enable. • Uses the clipboard only when you return to an enabled IFS Cloud tab, and only for a table whose header row holds IFS Cloud field names. HOW TO START 1. Open an IFS Cloud page and click the V2 icon. 2. Click Enable for that environment, or enable all environments on your company's domain at once. 3. Copy and paste as normal.
