No subscription to utranscribe, no API keys, and no extension account. • Automatically load available transcripts when you change videos. • Search transcript text and jump to timestamps. • Copy the transcript or download it as a TXT file. • Choose ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini in Settings. • Click Summarize to open your selected AI with the full transcript and summary prompt already filled in. Review it and press Send. Your AI provider may require sign-in and applies its own usage and message-length limits. Transcripts depend on captions available on YouTube. utranscribe does not transcribe audio from videos without captions. To change the transcript language, use YouTube’s transcript panel. Preferences stay on your device, and your last transcript is stored for the browser session. No analytics or developer backend. When you click Summarize, the text is placed into your selected AI website, where that provider’s privacy policy applies. Independent extension.
