Overview
Drag selected text to search for and link to open in a new tab
This Chrome extension provides "Super Drag" for selected text and link. If you drag-and-drop selected text or link, it will be searched for by the specified search engine (default: Google) or opened in a new tab, respectively. In addition, this extension enables us to drag link text horizontally and select it, just like Presto Opera.

Once installed, you need to close Chrome and reopen for this to work. That's ok. The problem is this extension doesn't have many options and doesn't work too well because of that. Once you drag a link to open, Chrome JUMPS to that open link instead of just opening it in a background tab. This needs to be fixed. We need an option to not go to the newly opened link.

It's a shame that this extension disables the function to copy and paste the text when I drag any text link and drop into text input areas such as Web-browser's search area. It forces to open the link at that situation.

Very good plugin, do the intented job. A recommendation would be to add as option the posibility to do not "switch" to the next link and leave the new tab not selected. A nice to have
