Usage Overlay for Claude

Unofficial. Shows your Claude plan usage limits (shared with Claude Code) as a toolbar badge and an overlay on claude.ai.

See how much of your Claude plan you have used, without leaving what you are working on. Usage Overlay for Claude shows the usage limits of your Claude Pro or Max plan: the 5-hour session limit and the weekly limits. These limits are shared between claude.ai and Claude Code, so you can keep an eye on them while you work in either. FEATURES • Toolbar badge with your highest current percentage, turning amber at 70 % and red at 90 %. • Popup listing every limit with a progress bar and the time until it resets. • Floating overlay on claude.ai, including claude.ai/code: – with or without a background (transparent mode) – minimized to a single percentage, or hidden completely – placed in any corner of the page • Refresh interval from 1 to 30 minutes (default 5), plus refresh on demand. • Follows your light or dark theme. • English and Swedish interface. HOW IT WORKS The extension reads the same usage data that claude.ai shows under Settings → Usage, using your existing claude.ai login in this browser. You need to be signed in to claude.ai in the same Chrome profile. PRIVACY • No data is sent anywhere except the requests to claude.ai that read your usage. • No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no third-party servers. • The latest usage figures and your settings are stored only locally in your browser. • The extension does not read your conversations. PERMISSIONS • Access to claude.ai: read your usage limits and show the overlay on claude.ai. • Storage: remember the latest usage figures and your settings. • Alarms: refresh the figures on a schedule. If it changes, the extension may stop showing data until it is updated. • Only subscription plan limits are shown. Claude Code billed through an API key (Claude Console) is not covered.
