Slide the page down to a softer level, warm the color toward a gentle amber, or flip on a true dark mode — all live, with no reload. Set it once and your eyes will thank you. And when you paste in an answer from an AI assistant, the dark background it dragged along gets dropped on the way in — so your document doesn't end up with a black slab across the middle of it. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT IT DOES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Dimming slider — darken the bright white page to a level that's easy on your eyes. • Warmth slider — shift the color temperature toward warm amber, night-light style, to cut blue-light glare. • Dark mode — invert the document to a true dark theme with one click. • Clean pasted backgrounds — copy an answer out of a dark-mode AI assistant and it usually arrives as a black slab, because the clipboard carries the source page's background with it. This drops that background off content pasted into Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar events, and Keep notes — while the links, headings, lists, and formatting all stay exactly as they were. Text colors stay too, with one exception: pale text that was only readable against the dark background it came from is dropped, so it takes your document's own color instead of landing invisible on the page.
