Overview
Decode ad tracking parameters (gclid, UTM, fbclid, wbraid) from any URL with conflict detection.
URL Param Decoder reads the current page's URL and breaks down every ad tracking parameter into a clear, organized panel. One click tells you exactly what tracking is attached to any landing page — which platform tagged it, what each parameter does, and whether the tagging setup has problems. Built for digital marketers, media buyers, and analytics teams who deal with Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and UTM-tagged campaigns on a daily basis. WHAT IT DOES When you click the extension icon on any webpage, it parses the URL in the address bar and identifies all advertising and analytics tracking parameters. Each parameter is displayed with: The parameter name and its raw value A plain-language explanation of what the parameter does in your ad tracking stack A platform badge showing which ad system generated it (auto-tagged vs. manually set) Visual grouping by platform so you can scan the full picture at a glance If there are configuration problems — like conflicting click IDs from multiple ad platforms, or an incomplete UTM tag set — the extension flags them at the top of the panel with a specific description of the issue and why it matters for your attribution data.
