Upwork Proposal AI helps freelancers write stronger, personalized proposals directly on Upwork. Open any job or apply page, and the extension shows an overlay where you can analyze the job and generate a custom proposal with one click. Job analysis: Reads the job post and shows key requirements and a skill-match score so you see how well the role fits before applying. One-click proposal draft: Generates a tailored proposal (relevance summary, implementation approach when relevant, and the proposal text) using AI, so you spend less time writing and more time applying. Your voice, your rules: In the extension Options you can set your system prompt, do’s and don’ts, sample proposals, experience, tone, and max length. The AI follows these so drafts sound like you. Quick workflow: From the overlay you can copy the draft, save it to history, or use “Apply now” to copy and paste into Upwork’s proposal field. The popup gives fast access to your last draft and saved proposals. Privacy and control: You can use your own OpenAI API key (stored locally in the extension). Optional sync with our web dashboard is available for settings and saved proposals. Suited for anyone who regularly bids on Upwork and wants proposals that match both the job and their own style. Permissions The extension runs only on upwork.com. It needs storage for your settings and drafts, and access to the active tab when you use the overlay on Upwork. It does not collect your Upwork credentials or post proposals for you; you review and submit every proposal yourself.
