Upshot

Tells your Upshot crew when you post on LinkedIn. Reads only your own posts; never likes, comments, messages or posts for you.

Upshot is a crew for your LinkedIn posts: friends and colleagues who show up for each other in the first hour, by hand. This extension connects LinkedIn to your Upshot account, so you don't have to paste links or chase people for proof. What it does • Spots your new LinkedIn posts and tells your crew, so they can show up while it matters • Counts who in your crew liked or commented, so they get credit without pasting links • Shows your reach, reactions and comments on Upshot, and how much your crew adds • Powers Intelligence: your best day, time and format to post, from your own posts What it reads • Your own recent posts: when they went live, their first lines and their counts • Who reacted to and commented on them (name, headline, profile link, when) • Your own reach, where LinkedIn shows it to you • Who saw your posts, as LinkedIn's analytics shows you (shares of viewers by company, title, location), and your follower count What it never does • Like, comment, message, connect or post for you • Read anyone else's posts, your messages or your connections • Send your password or LinkedIn cookies anywhere It reads only while LinkedIn is open in your browser, a few times an hour. It needs a free Upshot account at upshot.is. Upshot isn't made by or affiliated with LinkedIn. LinkedIn's terms don't allow automated reading, so like any tool of this kind there's a small risk to your account; you can remove the extension any time.
