Upload to Google Photos

Right-click any image and upload it to your Google Photos library.

Right-click any image in Chrome and upload it straight to your Google Photos library. A small toast on the page shows a thumbnail and upload progress, then links to the uploaded photo. Optionally files every upload into an album you name. On Instagram, Threads and Facebook, which cover their photos with an invisible layer, use "Upload image under cursor to Google Photos" from the right-click menu instead. No toast? Chrome doesn't let extensions draw on the Chrome Web Store or other pages it protects. The upload still works there: watch the toolbar icon, which shows blue dots while uploading, a green check when done and a red ! if it failed, and a system notification reports the result. Pin the icon (puzzle-piece menu → pin) to always see it. Uses Google's append-only scope: the extension can add photos but cannot read, edit or delete anything in your library. No servers, no analytics, open source.
