Overview

Remember files you attach to websites and recover a private local copy later.

Remember what you attached. Find it when you need it. Which version of your resume did you send? Where did you upload that assignment? Upload History helps you find the files you attached to websites and recover saved copies even after moving or deleting the originals. Once you enable recording and grant website access, Upload History records attachments from supported file pickers and drag-and-drop upload controls. Each record includes the filename, website, page title, and time. FIND YOUR FILES • View recent attachments directly from the extension. • Search your history by filename and filter by website or date. • Download an independent saved copy of an attachment. • Keep separate records when you attach different versions of the same file. CONTROL WHAT GETS SAVED • Save file copies or record file details only. • Set recording preferences for individual websites. • Pause recording whenever you want. • Mark important records as Keep. • Delete individual records or clear your archive. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your history and saved copies stay locally in your Chrome profile. Upload History does not send your files or history to the developer. No account, analytics, or cloud sync is required. Recording starts only after you enable it and grant website access. Saved copies are encrypted locally using a key stored in the same browser profile. MADE FOR EVERYDAY ATTACHMENTS Keep track of resumes, assignments, application documents, and other files you attach across websites. Compatibility depends on the website’s upload controls; cloud-document pickers and some custom uploaders may not be supported. The default limits are 50 MiB per file and 500 MiB of archive storage. Records expire after 90 days unless marked Keep, with adjustable retention settings. Recovery is available for copies successfully saved while recording was enabled and still retained in your archive. Uninstalling the extension or deleting its browser data can remove saved copies. Free and open source. Requires desktop Chrome 148 or newer.
