Overview

Capture invoices, bills, and receipts from the current tab and file them into Upbooks as expenses.

InvoiceGrabber by Upbooks captures the bill, invoice, or receipt you're currently viewing — a PDF, an image, or a billing web page — and turns it into an Upbooks expense record with the document attached. Confirm the amount, date, and vendor, and it's filed. No downloading, no switching to Upbooks, no re-uploading, no bills that quietly never make it into the books. HOW IT WORKS View a bill — a PDF open in Chrome, an image, or a supplier's billing page Grab — click the InvoiceGrabber icon (or right-click → "Add to Upbooks") and the document is captured automatically Confirm & save — the side panel shows the attachment plus a short form for vendor, amount, date, and category. Check the duplicate warning, save, and it's in your books KEY FEATURES 📎 Captures what you're looking at PDF open in Chrome's viewer — grabbed directly An image (screenshot of a bill, a photographed receipt) — grabbed as-is A billing web page with no downloadable file — captured as a full-page document automatically 🧾 One clean expense record Vendor (searchable from your Upbooks contacts, or add new inline) Amount, date, due date, category, and tax treatment Reference/invoice number field for easy lookup later The original document attached automatically — no re-uploading 🔁 Duplicate detection Warns if a bill from the same vendor, amount, and date already exists Warns on a matching reference number, so the same invoice never gets filed twice ✍️ Right-click capture No need to open the extension first — right-click any bill or invoice page and choose "Add to Upbooks" WHO IS IT FOR? Business owners who see bills scattered across supplier portals, utility sites, and SaaS billing pages and want them in one place Accountants & bookkeepers who want fewer "can you send that invoice again" conversations Anyone using Upbooks who wants expenses filed the moment they're seen, not weeks later during reconciliation PRIVACY, BY DESIGN InvoiceGrabber only acts when you click it or use the right-click menu. It captures the page or file you're viewing at that moment and sends it to your own Upbooks account. It does not read pages in the background, does not monitor your browsing, and does not access your email or files beyond what you explicitly capture. REQUIRES AN UPBOOKS ACCOUNT. Sign in with your existing Upbooks account to start filing. ABOUT UPBOOKS Upbooks helps growing businesses manage clients, sales, invoicing, and expenses in one place. InvoiceGrabber is part of the Upbooks extension family, alongside UpLog for visual feedback capture and LeadClipper for CRM capture.
