Clear your side of one Instagram conversation with a count-first, confirmation-first workflow. Unsend This Chat for Instagram works only with the specific Direct conversation you intentionally open. It loads older chat history, identifies messages sent from your profile, and shows the total before anything is removed. When you confirm, it uses Instagram's native Unsend action one message at a time and shows visible progress. What it does: • Detects and locks to the currently open Instagram conversation. • Loads older messages while scanning the chat history. • Counts only outgoing messages that Instagram currently allows you to unsend. • Requires confirmation before permanently removing anything. • Shows live progress and lets you stop at any time. • Processes conversation information locally in the current browser tab. • Reads only the current Instagram Direct thread URL to keep the run locked to that conversation; it does not save or transmit browsing history. What it does not do: • It does not unsend the other person's messages. • It does not send conversation data to a server. • It does not store message content, account credentials, or browsing history. • It does not run on websites other than Instagram. Unsending is permanent and cannot be reversed. Keep the Instagram tab open while the extension is scanning or unsending. Instagram must be displayed in English so the extension can verify the native action labels.
