Unrot — feed coach for X

Measures how much junk your X For You feed serves you and guides your 14-day reset. Never acts on your account by itself.

Unrot is the companion extension to the Unrot 14-day reset for your X "For You" feed (https://www.tryunrot.com). While you scroll X as usual, Unrot quietly measures how much of your For You feed is junk — engagement slop, rage bait, stuff you never chose, one-sided fights — and shows you the number going down day by day. WHAT IT DOES • Measures: each post that stays on screen for a second in your For You feed is classified on your device and counted once. The popup shows today's junk share and your 14-day trend. • Guides your plan: when a post from an account on your plan shows up, Unrot puts a small note above it ("@account is on your plan to mute"). If you want, it opens X's own "⋯" menu on that post and highlights the right option. You make the click. • Optional: collapse obvious junk so you can choose whether to look at it. • AI second opinion (on by default, one switch in the popup turns it off): posts the local rules can't place are labelled by an AI model. WHAT IT NEVER DOES • Never asks for your X password or logs in to X. • Never uses the X API. • Never mutes, blocks, follows, likes, posts or changes anything on your account by itself. Every action is a click you make in X's own menus. • Never scrolls, navigates or clicks for you. • Never stores the posts you see. Your plan only gets daily totals (how many posts were measured and how many fell in each category). With the AI second opinion on, the text and author of the posts the rules can't place are sent to label them, and aren't kept. HOW IT CONNECTS Unrot links to your private plan page with a revocable code. Open your plan and click "Connect the extension" (or paste the code into the popup). Disconnect at any time from the popup or your plan page. AFTER THE 14 DAYS When the reset ends, the popup shows your result (junk share at the start vs the end). With the optional Unrot maintenance subscription the extension keeps measuring and guiding you; without it, it stops measuring. In English and Spanish, following your plan's language.
