Unreel: Hide Reels, Explore & Suggestions

Use Instagram on purpose: no Reels feed, no Explore, no suggested posts. Stories, messages and search stay. Daily limit included.

Use Instagram on purpose. Unreel removes the parts of Instagram on the web that are built to keep you scrolling, and keeps the parts you came for: your friends' stories, your messages, and search. WHAT IT DOES • No Reels feed. Reels are still there on a profile's Reels tab, and a reel someone sends you opens on its own, with nothing to swipe to. • No Explore. Explore opens straight to search, without the grid of content. • No suggestions. Suggested posts, suggested accounts and sponsored posts disappear. • Stories-only Home. Home shows the stories row; posts from people you follow are one tap away. • No Notes. The bubbles at the top of Messages are gone. • Daily limit. Friendly reminders as you go (orange, then red). After your limit, only search and profiles stay open until midnight. • Calm mode. Grayscale photos, no like or follower counts, no red badges. UNREEL PRO (one payment, yours for good) • Focus hours: search-only Instagram during the hours you choose. • Weekend limits, separate from weekdays. • Pause before you scroll: a 5-second breather and "what did you come for?" when you come back. • Commitment lock: loosening a setting takes 10 minutes and a typed sentence, so you can't undo your limits on impulse. • Insights: minutes per day, streaks under your limit, and how much time you've won back. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no analytics, no ads. Your settings and minutes stay in your browser. Unreel never reads or stores the content of posts or messages. Unreel is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Instagram or Meta.
