Unread Checker for Gmail keeps your Gmail inbox count visible in Chrome without opening another inbox tab every time. Features: - Shows unread Gmail inbox count on the extension badge - Refreshes automatically on a configurable interval - Lets you refresh manually from the options page or right-click menu - Opens Gmail when you click the toolbar icon - Focuses an existing Gmail tab instead of creating duplicates - Stores settings and unread count locally in Chrome The extension uses Gmail's inbox feed to read the unread count.
