Unplug for YouTube: Remove Distractions, Focus Mode, Get Your Brain Back

Free forever. Remove distractions and get your brain back: hide Shorts, recommendations and comments, stop autoplay, schedule focus.

Don't worry, I got you. I will never charge for this. I built Unplug for YouTube because I use it myself every day, and I don't like charging people for something that just helps them focus. Free forever. No ads, no account, no data collected. You open YouTube for one video. Somehow, an hour disappears. Unplug helps you watch what you came for and leave when you're done. 🏠 A QUIETER HOME Hide recommendations, topic chips and shelves, limit the feed, or go straight to Subscriptions or Watch later. Tidy the left sidebar entry by entry. Your home page doesn't have to be a rabbit hole. 📱 SHORTS, YOUR WAY Hide Shorts across YouTube, open them in the normal player, or stop the endless scroll. Keep the videos you want and skip the loop. 🎬 JUST THE VIDEO Clear away watch-page recommendations and end-screen suggestions. Open in theater mode, choose playback quality, blur thumbnails, calm down clickbait titles or turn the whole page black and white. 💬 LESS NOISE, MORE CONTROL Hide comments and live chat, filter words or channels, and stop autoplay from picking your next video. You decide what comes next. 🕒 FOCUS THAT FITS YOUR DAY Try Deep focus, No Shorts, Study, Music only or Minimal, or save your own. Pin your favorites to the quick bar for one tap, or set a weekly schedule so your favorite setup turns on by itself. 🔒 YOUR SETTINGS STAY YOURS Everything runs in your browser. No tracking, no analytics, no data collected. Export or import your settings whenever you like. HOW TO USE Click the Unplug icon, pick a preset or flip a switch. Done. Start small and make YouTube feel right for you. Unplug is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google. Unplug is free and stays free.
