Sync your own Canvas or Moodle subjects into your own UNIMING account — using the login you already have open. No password, no copying files around, and nothing shared with anyone else. UNIMING Sync is the companion extension for UNIMING (uniming.com.au), the AI study platform built for Chinese international students at Australian universities. Pick your subjects once; from then on, one click keeps your course material up to date, so UNIMING can turn each week of each subject into interactive bilingual lessons. WHAT IT DOES • Copies the subjects you choose — modules, pages, assignments, quizzes, announcements, discussions, files, and lecture recordings with transcripts — from your university's Canvas or Moodle into your private UNIMING account. • Syncs incrementally: after the first sync, only what changed is transferred, so updates take seconds. • Or keeps everything local: choose download mode and get a zip on your computer instead — nothing is uploaded anywhere. • Optional reminders when subjects go out of date, or automatic background sync — both off by default. WHAT IT NEVER DOES • It never sees or asks for your university password. It reads your LMS with the session already in your browser. • It has no standing access to any website. You grant access per site, and it acts only when you use it. • It does not read your grades, submitted work, private messages, other students' data, or subjects you did not select. • Your material goes to exactly one place: your own account. There is no public library — nothing is shared between accounts, sold, or used to train AI models. HOW TO START 1. In Options, click "Connect to UNIMING" and sign in — one click, no key to paste. 2. Open your university's Canvas or Moodle and click the UNIMING icon. 3. Tick your subjects and sync. Done. Works with Canvas and Moodle — the systems used by every major Australian university.
