Overview
Shows a warning when visiting a domain with Unicode characters, and displays the non-Unicode "Punycode" version of the domain.
Displays a warning page for domains with Unicode characters, to avoid potential "homograph" attacks or look-alike domains. Features: ✓ Displays and highlights the unicode characters ✓ Displays the ASCII "Punycode" version of the domain name ✓ Whitelist a website so it never shows the warning again ✓ Option to ignore certain unicode characters you specify ✓ Works on TLDs and subdomains How To Use: • If a warning is displayed, you can click a button to whitelist the domain, dismiss it for the current session, or go back. • To remove an existing whitelisted domain, right click the extension icon in the toolbar, then click "Options" / "Extension Options". • You can also set specific unicode characters that should be ignored in the same options menu. Privacy Notes: • No tracking, analytics, or usage data collection of any kind. • No External Requests: The extension runs entirely offline on your device; no data is ever sent to external servers. • Only your whitelisted domains and characters are stored in your browser's synced settings.
