Uni GPA Calculator automatically calculates and displays your GPA directly on your university's own examination results portal — no extra clicks, no separate app, no manual math. It currently supports: - Uva Wellassa University (UWU) — exam.uwu.ac.lk - University of Moratuwa (UoM) — lms.uom.lk - University of Peradeniya (UoP), Faculty of Science — sciims.pdn.ac.lk The extension detects which university's portal you're on and applies that university's own grading rules automatically. More universities are planned; this listing will be updated as support is added. FEATURES ON UWU - Automatic SGPA per semester, calculated as soon as you open your results page, using UWU's 12-point grading scale (A+ = 4.0 down to E = 0.0) and each course's credit value. - A single credit-weighted Overall GPA across all semesters, shown as a row at the bottom of your results table. - Every module is tagged with a GPA / Non-GPA badge (defaulting to GPA), which you can flip with one click if a module is actually non-credit. - Repeat/resit modules (the same course code appearing more than once) are automatically detected — only the highest-graded attempt counts, so credits are never counted twice. - For any module without a final grade yet — including ones marked "END REPEAT" — you can pick a guessed grade from a dropdown to instantly preview your SGPA and Overall GPA. A clear "what-if" label marks any number that includes a guess. FEATURES ON UOM - Overall GPA calculated on both the 4.0 and 4.2 grading scales UoM uses, shown as separate rows alongside your GPA credit and Non-GPA credit totals. - Non-GPA modules are detected directly from the results table's own GPA-credit column, so no guessing is involved. - Repeat/resit modules are handled the same way as on UWU — only the best attempt per course code counts toward your credit total. - Pending modules get the same what-if grade preview described above. FEATURES ON UOP (FACULTY OF SCIENCE) - Works on both the Final Grades and All Grades pages. - Follows the Faculty of Science's own GPA policy exactly: GPA is calculated per level (1000/2000/3000/4000), then combined into your Overall GPA using the Faculty's fixed percentage weights — which differ depending on whether you're on the 3-year B.Sc. or 4-year Honours pathway. - Shows SGPA per semester, GPA per level, and the final weighted Overall GPA, each labeled with the credits it was calculated from. - Your degree programme (General vs Honours) is detected automatically by reading your registered programme name from your own account page on the same portal — shown on the results page, with a dropdown so you can correct it yourself if needed. Your choice is remembered. - Incomplete ("I") grades and the Faculty's repeat-cap rule (a C-, D+, D, or E grade may be repeated but the improved grade is capped at C) each get a what-if dropdown, just like a pending grade. - Non-GPA courses are excluded automatically using the portal's own "Credit for GPA" column. - Repeat/resit modules are deduplicated the same way as on UWU and UoM. DESIGN GPA rows and badges are styled to blend into your results table itself — you won't see a separate popup, sidebar, or floating box. Everything appears as part of the page you're already looking at. PRIVACY This extension requests no browser permissions. All calculations happen locally, in your browser, from the grades and credits already shown on your own results page. It does not collect, store, or transmit any data to us or to any third party, and it contains no analytics or tracking of any kind. On the University of Peradeniya portal only, the extension makes one same-origin request to your own account page on that same portal (using your existing login session, the same way the page itself would) purely to read your registered degree programme name, so it can apply the correct GPA weighting. That request stays entirely within your university's own site — nothing is sent to us or to any other server. On UWU and UoM, the extension makes no network requests at all.
