unfollowfast - bulk unfollow for X
Overview
Bulk unfollow on X at a human pace. Pick who goes at unfollowfa.st, press start, and watch it run in your own browser.
unfollowfast cleans up who you follow on X without a terminal, an API key, or your password. Install the extension, open unfollowfa.st, and press scan: a fresh x.com tab opens, reads your following list, then closes itself and brings you back to the dashboard. Tick the accounts you are done with, protect the ones you keep, press start, and watch the counters as it works. Your scan is saved in your own browser, so a page refresh restores your list instantly instead of rescanning, and every account you unfollow drops off it as it happens. The toolbar popup shows the live run, the 24 hour budget as a ring, and can scan or stop on its own, no dashboard needed. It is deliberately slow, because that is what keeps accounts safe: - 20 to 50 seconds between each unfollow - A 4 to 10 minute break every 10 unfollows - A limit of 600 unfollows in any rolling 24 hours, per browser profile - A protected list that is never touched, even mid-run - Stop at any time, from the dashboard or the toolbar popup The extension sends nothing to us or to any third party: no account, no analytics, no telemetry. The only pages it touches are the x.com pages it opens in its own tab, never yours. Your scanned following list is saved only in the extension's storage on your own device; it is never transmitted, and uninstalling deletes it. unfollowfast is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp.
