Under the Mark is a free budget planner that shows what you planned and what you actually spent, side by side on every line. This extension is how spending gets into it without waiting for your bank statement. TWO WAYS TO USE IT Automatic - add the shops you buy from. When you reach an order confirmation page, the extension finds the total and asks whether to save it. You can correct the amount and the shop name before agreeing. Manual - click the toolbar icon any time and type an amount. The shop name is filled in from the tab you are on. Either way the purchase waits on your device until you next open Under the Mark, then appears in the Purchase inbox for you to approve. Nothing reaches your budget without a click. PRIVACY, PLAINLY - No account, no server, no analytics. Nothing is transmitted anywhere. - It runs only on sites you add yourself. There is no blanket access to the web, and none at all until you choose a site. - It never reads or changes your budget figures. - You can stop it watching any site with one click. HONEST LIMITS Detection is generic rather than written shop by shop, so it works on sites nobody has specifically coded for. It catches roughly two thirds of checkouts rather than all of them. When it guesses wrong you correct the figure before saving, so a wrong guess costs nothing. It only sees online purchases.
