Most full-page screenshot tools scroll down your page, photograph each screenful, and glue the pieces together. Between two of those frames the page keeps living: a carousel advances, a sticky header re-pins, a lazy image finally loads, a counter ticks. What you get back is a hairline seam where the two halves no longer agree. Uncut renders the entire page in a single pass instead. There is no second frame, so there is nothing to align and nothing to tear. TWO ENGINES, AND YOU CHOOSE One render (default) draws the whole page off-screen in one pass through the DevTools protocol. Nothing is scrolled, so nothing can move mid-capture. Sharper text, no seams, at any page height. Chrome shows a yellow "started debugging this browser" banner while it runs; that banner is Chrome's, it cannot be hidden, and it disappears the moment the capture finishes. Scroll and stitch is the classic method, for the pages where the first one cannot help. Uncut freezes sticky headers and pauses animations first, so the joins land where they should. If a render ever comes back with a repeated band instead of a real page, Uncut detects it, throws it away, and captures again with the other engine automatically. You get a correct image rather than a broken one that merely looks finished. FOUR THINGS TO CAPTURE The whole page, top to bottom, however tall it is. Just a region: drag a band down the page, or point at one element and click it. You get that part at full height, including whatever is scrolled off-screen. A scrolling panel inside a page. Uncut re-renders the same page at phone, tablet and desktop widths in a single run and composes them into one labelled sheet, at real relative widths. Trim a band off the top or the bottom, or cut one out of the middle and close the gap. Blur a client name or an email out of the pixels before you share it. Highlight one area and dim everything else, which is the only usable way to point at something on a fifteen-thousand-pixel page. Resize a huge capture down to something sendable.
