Selection and full-page translation with any OpenAI-compatible API (BYOK)

Umbra is a browser extension for translating selected text and full web pages. Translations run through any OpenAI-compatible chat API that you configure yourself: enter the base URL, API key, and model on the options page. Your key stays in local browser storage. Features: · Selection translation: a translate button appears on selected text, with the translation shown in a floating bubble · Full-page translation with one-click restore of the original text · Customizable target language and instant-translate-on-selection preferences · Context-menu shortcuts for translating selections or the whole page
