Uma Keep helps you save what matters on the web and return to it at exactly the right moment. Most browser tools only save links. Uma Keep saves the context around your work. Keep useful pages, write detailed notes, organize ongoing projects, or create a Focus Capsule containing every tab needed for a task. Add your exact next action and schedule a return time. When the reminder appears, Uma can restore the full working context without reopening tabs that are already active. Whether you are researching a topic, planning a project, studying for an exam, or collecting resources for later, Uma Keep gives your unfinished work a clear place to live. FOCUS CAPSULES A Focus Capsule captures a complete browser session for later. Choose the tabs that belong to your task. Give the capsule a clear name, then record the exact action you should take when you return. You can also schedule a reminder directly while creating the capsule. When it is time to continue, select Resume Context. Uma restores the missing tabs while skipping any tabs that are already open. Your original next-action note remains attached, helping you continue without trying to remember where you stopped. SMART CONTEXT REMINDERS Create reminders for upcoming events or unfinished work. Each reminder can include a title with optional details. You can also attach a saved page, personal note, or Focus Capsule. When a reminder becomes due, Uma opens a compact reminder window near the upper-right corner of Chrome. It also attempts to show a native system notification. From the alert, you can mark the reminder complete or snooze it for ten minutes. If the reminder has attached context, Resume Context takes you directly back to it. Saved pages reopen instantly. Notes open inside the Uma workspace. Focus Capsules restore their missing tabs. SAVE USEFUL PAGES Keep any useful website from the Uma popup. You can also use the right-click menu or keyboard shortcut. Uma stores the page title and source address, allowing you to find it later without filling your browser with temporary bookmarks. Add your own note to record why the page matters or what you plan to do with it. CREATE NOTES Write notes directly inside Uma Keep and organize them alongside your saved web resources. Notes are useful for ideas, research observations, task instructions, and anything else you want available inside your browser workspace. Each note can be assigned to a project and found through search. ORGANIZE WITH PROJECTS Create dedicated project spaces for different parts of your work. New saves can be routed into your currently selected project, keeping unrelated material separated. Pin important items for quick access. Delete outdated items when they are no longer useful. Uma also includes an undo option for recent deletions. FAST WORKSPACE SEARCH Search across your saved titles, written content, source addresses, project names, and Focus Capsule tabs. Uma’s search can tolerate a small typo in longer words, making older material easier to rediscover. You can also type “uma” followed by Space in Chrome’s address bar to search your workspace without opening the extension first. BUILT FOR REAL WORK Uma Keep is useful for: • Research projects with many sources • Study sessions that need to be continued later • Applications with several reference pages • Writing projects spread across multiple tabs • Travel or event planning • Personal reading lists • Long-term browser research • Any task where remembering the next step matters EXPORT YOUR WORK Export the currently visible workspace as a readable Markdown brief. Sources and notes remain included, making the export useful for research handoffs or offline reference. You can also export a complete JSON backup of your Uma workspace. Importing a backup merges the saved material without replacing matching items. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Uma Keep does not require an account. There is no advertising or telemetry. Uma does not send saved content to a remote AI service. Your workspace is stored locally in your Chrome profile through Chrome’s extension storage system. Uma requests only the browser permissions required for its features: • Storage is used to retain your workspace • Tabs access supports page saving and Focus Capsules • Context menu access provides right-click saving • Alarms schedule your reminders • Notifications provide system reminder alerts Uma does not request permission to read every website you visit. It does not track your browsing history. IMPORTANT REMINDER INFORMATION Chrome must be running for reminders to appear. Browser extensions cannot wake a sleeping computer. Chrome may deliver an alarm slightly after its scheduled time depending on device state. If Chrome was closed when a reminder became due, Uma checks for missed reminders after Chrome starts again. Native notification appearance is controlled by your operating system. Device notification settings or Focus modes may prevent the system banner from appearing. Uma’s separate reminder window will still attempt to open. YOUR BROWSER SHOULD REMEMBER MORE THAN LINKS Uma Keep turns saved material into resumable work. Instead of returning to a pile of unexplained tabs, you return to a clear task with the pages needed to continue. Save the context. Remember the next action. Return when it matters.
