Ultimate Website Downloader's companion extension has no popup, no side panel, no UI of its own. Click the toolbar icon on any page and it instantly sends that page's URL to the Ultimate Website Downloader Windows app, which slides into view on the right side of your screen ready to start the download. That's the entire extension. Requires the Ultimate Website Downloader Windows app (sold separately at ultimate-website-downloader.com). What this extension does: - When you click the toolbar icon on an http/https page, it reads that tab's URL - It sends that URL to the Windows app via Chrome's Native Messaging What this extension does NOT do: - It has no popup or side panel — clicking the icon does not open any extension window - It does not read page content, cookies, or browsing history - It does not download files itself - It does not send any data anywhere except to the Windows app installed on your own PC
