Overview

Detects multiple CMS platforms on Google Search results and offers AI-powered detection on other pages.

Ultimate CMS Detector for Search shows you what websites are built with, right from your Google Search and Google Images results. No more opening a dozen tabs or digging through page source just to figure out whether a site runs WordPress or Shopify. The extension works by analyzing the HTML of sites linked in your search results, looking for the fingerprints that popular content management systems and web technologies leave behind. That analysis happens locally in your browser, so nothing about your browsing gets sent anywhere. Detected platforms show up as clear labels next to each result, with confidence scores and a floating summary box you can glance at. There's also an AI-powered mode if you want to go deeper. You bring your own OpenAI API key, pick the model you want to use, and you can run detection on any webpage, not just search results. That mode catches a wider range of platforms, modern JavaScript frameworks, and backend technologies, and it can explain what it finds. The extension recognizes over ten popular CMS platforms across traditional systems, e-commerce platforms, and website builders. You can toggle detection for individual platforms, turn the whole thing on or off, and control whether image scanning runs. If you scan Google Images results, you can export what it finds as a CSV with the detected platforms and their source URLs. Everything runs locally. Nothing about you or your browsing is collected or stored.
